- Technical Sales Representative
Description
Identify and develop new customers in industries such as nuclear, pharmaceutical, aerospace, semiconductor, oil & gas and industrial fabrication
Visit new and existing customers to maintain and build relationships.
Understand customer welding challenges and recommend appropriate orbital welding equipment, tooling, or welding services
Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical justifications
Conduct product demonstrations, trials, and on-site evaluations
Coordinate with applications engineers and service teams to ensure successful implementations
Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management to maximize customer satisfaction.
Track sales activity and maintain accurate CRM records
Represent the company at trade shows, customer visits, and industry events (travel up to 20% of the time domestic and international)

Key Experience/Education:
Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related technical field (Welding, Automation, Mechanical, etc.) area is required
Minimum 2 years of relevant B2B technical or industrial sales experience is preferred
Background in welding, manufacturing, automation or technical sales is an asset
Experience with orbital welding, TIG welding, or tube/pipe joining is a strong asset
Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook and Excel)
Experience with a CRM is an asset
