Oceaneering is a global oilfield provider of engineered services and products primarily to the offshore oil and gas industry, with a focus on deepwater applications. Through the use of its applied technology expertise, Oceaneering also serves the defense, entertainment, and aerospace industries. Oceaneering’s business offerings include remotely operated vehicles, built-to-order specialty subsea hardware, deepwater intervention and manned diving services, non-destructive testing and inspection, and engineering and project management.
The Advanced Technologies (ADTECH) group of Oceaneering is an industry leader in enabling humans to work safely and effectively in harsh environments ranging from the depths of the sea to the outer reaches of space. ADTECH specializes in the support of manned systems and the development and application of practical, cost-effective robotic systems in multiple industries. ADTECH designs, builds, and operates unique underwater systems for the US Navy and provides full life cycle maintenance services in support of submarines and Deep Submergence Systems. In support of our space program, ADTECH is developing the next generation space suit for NASA, is responsible for astronaut tools for ExtraVehicular Activity, and provides robotic and spacecraft life support systems. ADTECH is also a leader in design, build, and installation of theme park entertainment ride systems, show action equipment, and control systems hardware and software.
ADTECH’s business areas are: Oceaneering Technologies, Marine Services Division, Oceaneering Space Systems, Oceaneering Entertainment Systems and Manufacturing. All business areas of ADTECH are ISO 9001 certified.
Company History
Founded in 1964, Oceaneering has grown from an air and mixed gas diving business in the
Gulf of Mexico to a diversified, advanced applied technology organization operating around the
world. Oceaneering achieved this growth by executing a plan of both internal research and
development augmented by strategic acquisitions.

Medical, Dental and Vision
At Oceaneering, your benefits are available to you upon your employment. We offer two Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plans administered by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas and a Prescription Drug Plan administered by Caremark.
You also have the opportunity to participate in our PPO Dental Plan and our Vision Plan.
Basic Life and Disability Coverage
Oceaneering offers Basic Life to our employees free of charge. We also provide employer paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Coverage.
Optional Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment and Disability Coverage (AD&D)
Employees have the opportunity to purchase Optional Life Insurance and AD&D for themselves and their dependents at low group rates.
Healthcare/Dependent Day Care Flexible Spending Accounts
Employees can set aside $2,500 a year on a pre-tax basis to pay for eligible health care expenses and $5,000 a year for dependent care expenses.
