NOW HIRING DIESEL MECHANIC INTERNS TO JOIN OUR TEAM!

Our internships are with the goal to evaluate the candidate's potential as a possible future, full-time employee. We offer internships and opportunity to receive diversified training through on-the-job assignments using the technical skills acquired in college. Each intern will be assigned a mentor to help develop both technical and professional skills.
Internship Schedule:
Summer 2026 (May August)
Monday Friday; 7:00AM to 5:30PM (shift hours may vary)
Position_Description :
- Diagnose and repair/rebuild all equipment and vehicles as determined by the Shop Manager.
- Repairs vehicles and equipment according to schedules.
- Perform routine maintenance of equipment and vehicles as needed and on time.
- Operate construction equipment and vehicles in order to repair.
- Perform miscellaneous welding to repair items not requiring a certified welder.
- Strive to maintain zero repeat/redo repairs.
- Clean equipment and vehicles in the process of making repairs.
- Maintain daily logs in a legitimate, timely and organized fashion.
- May drive company pickup truck to get parts.
- Assist with small tool and equipment maintenance, repair as needed.
- Seek knowledge of new technologies/methods used in truck and equipment maintenance.
- Recommend measures to Shop Manager to improve safety, production, equipment performance and repair quality.
Position Requirements :
- Two years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Pursuing a degree in diesel tech at a tech school/college or other related degree.
- Be able to physically lift 50 100 LBS.
- Be able to regularly stand for long periods of time, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl.
- Specific vision abilities are required, which includes to have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
