About the role:
Located in Lonsdale, SMA have been assisting companies Australia wide for over 40 years by supplying quality fabrication in galvanized, mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum.

We are in search for Sheetmetal Fabricators to join our ever-growing team.

Successful candidates will possess the following:
Experience in Sheetmetal Fabrication Trade using materials ranging from 0.6mm to 6.0mm
Skills in Tig and Mig welding with Mild Steel and Galv materials
Skills in using a Brake Press
Ability to interpret shop drawings, and to work from CAD drawings and existing samples.
Ability to work with minimum supervision and within a team
Strong problem-solving ability to determine the best way to deliver a quality product
High level of pride in workmanship, attention to detail and quality workmanship
Positive approach to multiple tasks and ability to handle pressure at various times.
Understanding of safety procedures and the ability to perform the physical aspects of the job including lifting
Factory floor test prior to starting
In addition, it would be advantageous to have:

Skills in Tig and Mig welding with either Stainless Steel or Aluminium materials
Forklift License
Drivers License
