We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fabrication Team Lead / Manager to oversee as well as work on our fabrication jobs and ensure the highest quality standards in our production line. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication, with hands-on experience in welding, reading blueprints, assembling, and working with various materials. This role requires excellent leadership abilities to manage a team effectively while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
We are building up a new set of production lines, the candidate will take part in selecting and ordering new large scale equipment and participating in building the new facility work flow and growth, with extremely large existing contracts.
This is a newer facility and being built up, needing a professional, knowledgeable in production processes, tooling requirements & equipment and willing to take part in the ground floor, growing the manufacturing line from the ground up, fully funded with jobs to build now. Someone who can be working floor supervisor welding as well approx 60% to 70% of the time while helping with the overall team and growth needs as the new large aviation lines are taking off.

Responsibilities
Supervise, coordinate and work on the daily fabrication activities to meet production goals.
Read blueprints and collaborate with engineering teams to develop effective fabrication plans. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fabrication process to minimize downtime.
Oversee the quality control process to ensure all fabricated products meet specifications.
Manage inventory of materials and supplies needed for fabrication processes.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
Will also be in charge of hiring and growing your new team.
Requirements
10 years experience required in TIG / MIG welding.
10 years reading and understanding blueprints and fabrication processes.
Able to work in Aluminum, Steel and Stainless Steel.
Proven experience in a fabrication Team Lead or Manager
Ability to read blueprints accurately.
