We are seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our team. In this role you will:

Carry out welding and fabrication on marine vessels, piping systems, and structural steel components
Work with steel, aluminium, and specialty alloys
Interpret and follow technical drawings and fabrication plans
Conduct inspections and quality checks to meet safety and engineering standards
Adhere to safety protocols
Collaborate with other team members to deliver projects efficiently
Maintain equipment and tools
Be willing to travel interstate, if required
Qualifications

Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (or equivalent) is highly regarded
Proficient in Arc Welding, TIG Welding, and MIG Welding
At least three years experience with materials and structural steel fabrication
Strong attention to detail and ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety
Current White Card and strong focus on workplace safety
Relevant certifications and trade qualifications are beneficial
Driver's license, desirable

Pay: $38.73 – $41.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
