Role Description

We are collaborating with the University of Miami to deliver an artistic outdoor structure that will serve as a functional but creative centerpiece in the new courtyard they are installing.

We are seeking a skilled Welder for a full-time, on-site position at our Laguna Niguel, CA location. The Welder will be responsible for performing various welding operations using MIG, and arc welding to assemble, repair, and fabricate metal components. Daily tasks involve interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, ensuring material alignment, inspecting welding equipment for safety, and maintaining the highest quality standards in craftsmanship and workplace safety.

Requirements

• Expertise in MIG Welding
• Aluminum Certified Welder
• Expertise in using a Spool gun
• Solid experience in Arc Welding and general Welding techniques.
• Expertise in Fabrication is PLUS
• Experience working under project deadlines
• High level of autonomy and able to contribute ideas
• Experience in delivering complex art pieces or outdoor structures
• Strong knowledge of materials and their properties to select the appropriate welding method.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Open to W-2 or 1099
