Full Time Position requiring a minimum of 38 hours per week

Salary: $120,000 - $135,000 per annum, depending on experience

Position Title: Metal Fabricator (Boilermaker Welder)

SBS Engineering is a locally owned business specialising in Fixed Plant & Mobile Plant Equipment.

As a result of the company’s continuous growth, we are looking for experienced Metal Fabricators (Boilermakers/Welders) to join our team in the Goldfields.

The Role: Fabrication & Assembly, Metalworking, Maintenance & Repair. The position includes working on site, attending breakdowns and working in the workshop.

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Cutting, bending and shaping metal components
Assembling and welding fabricated parts
Conducting quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications
Performing routine maintenance on fabrication machinery
Experience & Qualification Requirements:

Australian Recognised Trade Certificate III or equivalent qualification
Minimum 3 years full time experience as a Metal Fabricator
National Police Certificate
Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug and Alcohol Screen
Construction White Card
Working at Heights Certification < 2 years
Confined Space Certification < 2 years
Valid Australian Drivers Licence
Strong safety focus and commitment to team values
