- Fabricator III - 2nd Shift
Description
Hours - Monday - Thursday 4:00 pm to 2:30 am. Overtime, when available is worked Fridays and Saturadays.
Job Summary:
Produces product by performing complex metal fabricating operations.
Major Accountabilities:
1. Works from complex blueprints and performs the fabrication operations to manufacture the part to print using a broad knowledge of fabrication practices such as welding, forming, punching, sawing and layout work.
2. Able to work with little supervision or directions to accomplish tasks.
3. Maintains a high degree of productivity.
4. Recommends improvements in designs and procedures to team leader that will minimize cost and produce a quality product.
5. Maintains a safe working environment by utilizing safety procedures and keeps all work areas clean and free from debris.
6. Work is free from errors or omissions, with attention to details, avoiding rework.
7. Properly record all time entries to daily time sheets and correctly completing all information for Syteline. This shall include Job Number, Quantity worked on, if completed or not, drawing number, and task number.
8. Return all prints in order with completed parts to team leader. With appropriate initials and green-lines per company quality process QP-009.
Requirements
Working Conditions:
Working environment is generally favorable with adequate lighting and temperature. Work may require bending, lifting up to fifty (50) pounds. Pulling, pushing, sitting, reaching, and standing for up to ten (10) hours per day. Must wear personal protective equipment as required.
Minimum Education Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Years of Experience Required:
Five (5) years of related experience.
