Job Title: Fabricator / Boilermaker
Location: Carrum Downs, VIC
Employment Type: Full-Time
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (occasional overtime)
Reports To: Workshop Manager / Director

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components to engineering specifications.
Read and interpret drawings, templates, and job cards accurately.
Demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting standard fabrication drawings.
Operate workshop tools and machinery safely, including welders, grinders, saws, and other fabrication equipment.
Perform quality checks to ensure all work meets company and client standards.
Collaborate with the team to complete jobs efficiently and on time.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
Occasionally assist with vehicle modifications, repairs, or other workshop tasks as required.
 
Skills & Qualifications
Essential:

Qualified Boilermaker or Fabricator with proven experience in metal fabrication.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a qualified Boilermaker or Fabricator is required.
Strong welding skills (MIG, TIG, or ARC) and ability to work with various metals.
Attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Ability to work in a team and contribute to a positive workshop culture.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
Preferred:

Experience in heavy vehicle modifications, truck fabrication, or related industries.
Experience with CNC cutting, bending, or other advanced fabrication equipment.
