Our client is a WA-owned, family business known for quality, practical solutions and fast turnarounds. From basic fit-outs to complex custom builds, they convert shipping containers into site offices, dongas, storage/tool rooms and specialty structures for mining, construction, logistics and agriculture.
Temp to Perm – Job Structure
Our client has a definite two week position where following that, they intend to offer a successful candidate ongoing work. You will commence with Staff-Net on a casual basis and if your performance, reliability and workmanship meet expectations, a permanent offer may be made.
Location, Working Days & Hours
Location: Bibra Lake
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 7:00 AM - 3.30 PM (early knock off on Friday's)
The Role
Hands-on container modification and fabrication in a small, supportive crew. Work is varied, practical and production-focused—no heavy structural builds—using well-maintained equipment and clear shop drawings.
Typical work includes:
Modifying shipping containers into offices, dongas, tool sheds, storage units
Cutting apertures (doors/windows/AC penetrations) with oxy and grinders
RHS framing for door/window reinforcement and internal frames to suit ceilings/walls/linings
Installing doors, windows, insulation and fit-out components
MIG (GMAW) welding - solid wire & flux-cored, with attention to heat control on container steel
Occasional light fitting, assembly and general workshop duties
